The Mark of the Beast?

If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath.” ~Revelation 14:9,10

Although I consider myself spiritual, I am not religious, nor do I trust the integrity of the text of the Bible, but in the "truther" circles,  there is frequent talk of the "Mark of the Beast" - a term used in the Book of Revelations to describe the symbol of Satan.

Nowadays, the "Mark of the Beast" term is more frequently used to describe the prospect of having a microchip implanted into the body.  While many feel that the idea of microchip implants are a result of conspiracy theorist' paranoia, the technology is very real and currently being marketed for use in Americans, as the FDA has approved Applied Digital Solutions' Verichip for use in humans

Verichip is hardly larger than a grain of rice
Although the Verichip will be marketed for its use in centralizing a person's medical records, speculations is that the chip can be used for in a vast array of ways that have many in fear.  Although there may be medical benefits linked to the micro biochip, the prospect of implantation raises countless concerns.

You will not be seeing much mainstream news coverage of this topic, so do your own research or start with the videos below to get a better understanding of the micro bio-chip issue and how it may affect you in the future.

"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." ~Revelations 13:17
