Bringing the Truth Movement to the Mainstream

"For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed." ~ John F. Kennedy, Address Before the American Newspaper Publishers Association, April 27, 1961

Bring up the grassy knoll, the fact the RFK was shot from behind at close range, the truth that Martin Luther King Jr.'s whole family believes James Earl Ray is innocent, or that Building 7 was brought down by a controlled demolition, and see the reactions you will get from everyday Americans. Most people I've talked to will laugh quietly to themselves or outwardly scoff in dismissal, labeling you some "conspiracy theory" quack. Although it can be a lonely road, and often a dangerous one depending on how close to the bone of power you get, for those passionate individuals who actually care about digging deeper to uncover truth, the path is necessary and pursued without haste. The most pressing question for us "conspiracy theorists" is how do we wake up the herd of passive Americans to the mistruths, lies, and propaganda constantly fed to us and eliminate the nature of the masses to automatically trust authority?

NOT Politically Sophisticated
By and large, American people are not a politically sophisticated people. This is not necessarily their fault, as they are kept ignorant on that subject matter by the public educational system which is designed not to encourage critical thinking and dissent. The manipulation starts from the beginning of childhood and continues through a conditioning process that takes place in the schools. Then you come to enormous egregious wrongs that are taking place, and people do not rise up in this country. Many American people are detached from history, from the environment, and most of all, from the future. Even when people hear mounting evidence of cover up or conspiracy, it is so far removed from the needs that individuals face on a daily basis that it is not going to raise individual consciousness to a level beyond a mere acknowledgment of the possibility and wrongfulness.  Furthermore, in order to take the time to speak out and do something, the evidence or incident has to rock the person from their comfort zone.

At one point, we had an alert citizenry for Vietnam, then briefly for the Iraq war, but it has never rose to the levels it should. Why? Of the masses discussed, many of these people are struggling to survive, needing 2-3 breadwinners just to pay for the cost of living (and education, etc.), which has been a burden since real wages stopped being increased in any meaningful way and global inequality began to rise, both in the 1970s. People have to face the realities of economic survival, on one hand, which distracts them from any kind of serious interest in uncovering truth or fighting against injustices not directly affecting them, even if the media were putting the information out there instead of distracting and manipulating.

Those assassinations in the 60s changed the entire future of humanity. It really began the taking of America, on the path to a world takeover. By who you ask? By those in control of the monetary system. Always follow the money. JFK was going to cut the organizational allowance, conceivably going to go after the Federal Reserve, and block entry into a continued system of wars that has financially fuel the system of surety that depends on the military complex, so he had to go. Assassination is a last resort. If people can be broken by any other method, they do it. We've let the assassinations pass by us with hardly any backtalk.  We took the story as they wanted it to be.  With 9/11 too.

On the other hand, the banks and financial managers of this society have gone too far with the greed and aggressiveness, which may lead to a unification and uprising that could result in a real change. Because of people losing their jobs and homes, there is an increasing body of discontented Americans, millions of which are living in their cars, in tents, or on the streets. There is a revolutionary underbelly and potential throughout the country, and the world, due to the degree of greed, the maximization of the distance between the rich and the poor, and the incredible unwillingness of very powerful forces to tax the rich or to even look at the revenue side in terms of this whole problem of budding depression. There is a movement afoot to try to mobilize, and we have to let it mature. As the situation gets worse, which it most certainly will, then the tide of dissent will rise, but the media and all the social conditions will try and work against that happening.

Like Plato's Allegory of the Cave
Because of a preoccupation with their daily life and needs and because of the apathy that results from the feeling of frustration and futility, it will take a lot for the regular individual to stand up and demand better. The powers that be hope that this will all just go away and that they can continue to write history and that be acceptable as more people have faded from the scene and died. They really hope that all of these assassination will have, at the end of the day, the official story as perpetuated by the government, and most people will be unaware of what really happened.

Contradictions are becoming apparent. Inequity within society is becoming so graphic, and such images more readily available due to technological advacements. Therefore, it is only a question of time until this whole thing spills over. Stupidity of the ruling class has been such as to lay the foundations for serious change. There will always be disinformers and distractors. It is necessary to be careful of dissenters and radical commentaries that build the image of a "truther", then when there is a critical issue, they don't get involved or they support the government. Understand that the CIA has been making sure that the news is carefully managed for over a half century. This is a fact. Just check out the 25,000 word cover story from the October 1977 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine written by former investigative journalist of the Washington Post, Carl Bernstein - you don't think that still goes on?

For us dedicated to the movement of informing and making a positive social change, we must be prepared to do it for the sake of the cause, as a means of affirming yourself as a human being with a social conscious and not expecting accolades from the mainstream and the masses of people. If you are looking for recognition from the mainstream, you're gonna be sadly disappointed. Be contented with limited successes. Use what we have, while we have it, to organize, speak up, and get the voices out there. The Internet makes it a different world, and we know that they are figuring out how to manage that as well.

The global elite will not go down without a fight - whatever you may call them - Bilderberg, Illuminati, Trilateral Group, Freemasons, Collateral Commission, the Powers That Be, etc. etc. Their only concern is the maximization of profit and political control, which often goes hand in hand, as well as developing a unitary world system of government. They do influence enormously the political machinery and candidacies, and all of that.

Unmanned Drone - the new soldier - indiscriminately killing
What is going on in this world is an international human rights issue more than anything else. The amount of treaty and convention violations that the U.S. government has taken on, particularly since 9/11, is staggering. Mainstream media is controlled, sometimes subtly at individual levels. Blocked at an editorial level, and all in all, it is a lost cause. Independent media gets grants that also limits their ability to be objective and impartial, so the System has road blocks built in.

So the question remains, what is the radicalizing influence that will bring the truth movement, often blasphemed as "conspiracy theories", to the mainstream? Vietnam did it for a lot of folks, and September 11th for others, but what now?  Must we wait and see?

Speak up! Do what you can do where you are and link up with like minded individuals to collectively work to inform others and inspire change. Use passion, love, peace, and truth to infiltrate and heal as many minds as you can. Stand your ground for natural justice and good, and make ripples. Question what you don't understand, and educate yourself constantly. Once educated, work to share your knowledge with as many people as you can.  Spread truth, inspire thought, and promote research and education, but be discriminant with all information.

"When you are right you cannot be too radical; when you are wrong, you cannot be too conservative."

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."

"Rarely do we find men who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

"Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality."

"Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. "

"I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant."

"Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can't ride you unless your back is bent."

"History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people."
