It's About Time - Obama Discloses Birth Certificate

I'm no birther, not a Republican or Democrat, and surely no tea-bagger, but in the interest of fairness, I have always thought that President Obama should disclose his original birth certificate to quash the contention that he is not a U.S. citizen.  Why in the interest of fairness?  I've had to show my birth certificate to get a driver's license.  I've been required to send in my original birth certificate to get a U.S. Passport.

By the language of Section 1, Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution, "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."  If our government, and people of the United States, are going to so staunchly adhere to the intent of our founding fathers as determined by the text of the Constitution, it should be required that any candidate for president prove their age and natural born citizenship.

I do not think that Obama's reaction in finally turning over his original, long form birth certificate was him giving in to the taunts of Donald Trump and other alleged birthers.  Rather, it was him doing what he should have done in 2008.  Now, stop playing with Oprah and get to the "Change" you bragged about in order to get in office in the first place!!

P.S. How easy would it be for the President of the United States to get a falsified birth certificate anyway, especially if you had 3 years to do it?  Yea, I'm always a skeptic.
