President Obama Continues Muggin' For The Cameras

President Obama will appear on the Comedy Central mock news program, The Daily Show With Jon Stewart tonight, only days before Jon Stewart's Rally To Restore Sanity.  Obviously, Stewart and President Obama are trying to give Democrats some momentum prior to Tuesday's elections.  I do not think it's going to be very effective, since young voters have all but given up and the majority of those that will hit the polls on Tuesday will be old Conservatives.  That's just my opinion, and I hope that I am wrong, but really do not care either way since it won't make much of a difference who holds power in Congress because the system is broken.

President Obama has been different than most U.S. Presidents in that he has been a frequent figure on mainstream television programs without many official national addresses.  Just to name a few, President Obama has appeared on the View, Late Night with David Letterman, Oprah, American Idol, The Late Show with Jay Leno, America's Most Wanted, and will even appear on an upcoming episode of Mythbusters.  When was the last time you remember him doing a national address or broadcast?  Ole GWB was taking up all the channels all the time, but you never saw him bustin' myths.  I'll give it to the President, he is one charming SOB whenever he makes these TV appearances, and he should not be receiving the amount of blame he does for the current status of our country, but WTF Prez?

The President needs to stop putting himself in a position to be the scapegoat blamed for the shitty status of our country.  All the problems we are facing today are due to the many years and Administrations prior.  Sure, the President deserves some shit, but the outright hatred thrown at this man in his second year of his administration is absurd, and surely can be attributed - to some degree - to racism.  I know, I give him shit all the time, but that's my job.

So check out President Obama (playing himself) tonight on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
