One of the nine people killed in the Israeli raid on what has been labeled, an aid flotilla, Monday was a 19-year-old man with dual U.S.-Turkish citizenship, a U.S. State Department official said, and reports state that he was shot four times in the head. President Obama has called the occurrence "tragic."
Some reports state that those on board the flotilla were unarmed. Israeli officials remain unapologetic despite mounting criticism.
Today, Israeli forces stopped another aid ship from breaking the sea blockade to the Gaza strip.
